Doll High Chair

This little high chair is a piece that I found in my neighbor's garbage a year before my little one even showed an interest in dolls.  While on a walk one night, I saw it stacked next to the trash cans. Of course, I dragged it home.  It sat in my garage forever.

Finally, I decided this past Christmas was a great time to give it a little facelift since this was the Christmas of all things doll related.  You may remember the doll quilt, the doll pillow, and the doll bed projects.  This one went right along with it and has proved to be one of her favorite Christmas presents.

Here is how it started out:

I primed and painted it gloss white and sewed straps with velcro so it would be easy for little hands to put babies in and out of the chair.  It has helped ease her frustration for the dolls who refuse to sit upright on the play table chairs. My little one calls it her baby's "booster seat."

The only cost was the pink straps since I consistently have an abundant supply of spray paint and primer. Always keeping my eyes open for trash treasures:)

Easier Than I Thought!
